I am a Christian, and let be the first to say that FREE WILL is a gift of God.

2nd, it is the most essential gift of all cause Free Will lets me do as I will, and all others including God, cannot FORCE me, at best influence me.

3rd, Once I came to understand Free Will and God I realized that God's Will is basically the BEST and RIGHT and GOOD form of my Will, but I some of the time do not realize.

The point of free will is to be as i will to be. DONE

How free are free range chickens ? Is their flying ability limited by gravity ? Am I free to go swimming in a pool? If I go swimming am I bound only to the the water ? Or can I swim among the reeds of grass ? Is an American's freedom of speech bound by borders ? Can we indeed say absolutely anything we want within that geographical location ?

Consider the various views on the freedom of the will in the last 2000 years. Read Augustine, Pelagius, Luther, J.Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, C. Finney

freewill is not a biblical word or a gift offered from God . the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. But i can see you reject the Gift that is free and not robotic anymore than the reason you married your wife, she revealed herself to you and you loved her. If you say no then you remain unmarried that is your choice not a gift only a choice

wrong buddy and im sorry u have been mis informed, salvation and having eternal life with the father is knowing the father- not being in a religion or coining yourself as a christian. because our theology says not all who know of jesus christ will make it to heaven, it is the ones who have a relationship with him. thats matt 7:21-23, or the parable of the ten virgins which is math 25:1-13

justice demands that the same crimes warrant the same punishment, regardless of who commits it? WRONG! that's your opinion again! and being forgiven doesn't give us a free pass to do whatever we want. We have to truly be sorry for what we have done ask forgiveness, and have a relationship with god. its not about what we have done, its about knowing god and trying to be as much like Jesus as we possibly can. your arguments are not arguments but ignorant rants based on flawed logic. do research!

@truth1920 Yes He made you do it b/c that action was already created (foreknowledge)otherwise God would have a less than perfect foreknowledge.

God has no freewill he cannot change what he knows will happen and you cannot do other than what God knows you will do. No boundaries involve. just no freewill.

@quebec10000 So basically it is a decision within a decision.Just because he knew you would do it, doesn't mean he made you do it. He decided to set the boundaries, yet gave me the wiggle room within those boundaries.

@truth1920 That is right it is utimatley God;s decision (His) that is why you have no freewill.
At what point? when you pointed the gun at him,Of course God knew you were going to do this, the action was already created b/c of foreknowledge from God;s perspective you have no freewill b/c he knew, you could not have done otherwise.

@quebec10000 At what point did I take his free will away? God created right from wrong, which ultimately was his decision.
